Common questions, straight answers.
Everything worth knowing before you start: how the £0 upfront build works, what you pay each month, how SEO and online shops fit in, and where we work. If your question is not here, ask us and we will give you a straight answer.
The model, made clear.
Yes. We build your full website before you pay anything, and you review it on a private link first. If it is not right for you, you walk away owing nothing. No deposit, no setup fee, no obligation. We carry the cost of the build, so the risk sits with us, not you.
There is no catch. We do not charge for the build because we earn it back through the monthly management plan once your site is live. That only works if you stay, and you only stay if the site does its job, so we are tied to whether it keeps working for you.
Once your site is live it needs hosting, security and looking after, and that is what the plan pays for. Standard is £30 a month: UK hosting, SSL, daily backups, monitoring and small text and image updates. Professional Growth is £40 a month and adds a custom domain and a branded business email. Both run on a 30 day rolling notice, so you are never locked in.
Your domain name is yours and stays yours. While we manage the site, we own the design and the source code, and that is what keeps it at £30 a month rather than a four figure build fee. If you decide to leave, you can migrate the site to another host or another provider. We transfer the website files and source code to you for a one off handover fee: £150 for sites up to 7 pages, £250 above 7 pages. Beyond the 30 day rolling notice, there is no tie-in.
There is no cancellation fee. You give 30 days notice, the plan ends, and you owe nothing beyond your final month. There is no setup fee and no development fee at any point either. If you want to keep the site and take it with you, you can migrate it to another host or another provider, and we transfer the files and source code for a one off handover fee: £150 for sites up to 7 pages, £250 above 7 pages. That fee is the only cost of leaving. We host and manage the site, so if you cancel without taking the handover, it goes offline at the end of your notice. Your domain is yours either way, and you keep it.
Getting you found.
On two foundations. Every site loads fast on clean code, and speed is something search engines reward. And the technical groundwork is right from day one: correct meta tags, structured data, a tidy sitemap, and pages that are easy to crawl and index. That gives your site a strong base, which ongoing SEO then builds on month by month.
By getting the technical basics right rather than skipping them. Every page has correct meta tags and clean structured data, sits in a tidy sitemap, and runs on lean code that loads quickly. That is what lets search engines crawl, read and index your pages properly, which is the groundwork a lot of cheaper builds leave half done.
It comes down to how much we produce each month. Foundation at £150 covers one new location page, one article and the technical basics. Growth at £275 adds more pages and articles plus keyword tracking. Dominance at £450 is the highest output, with a dedicated niche audience page and competitor analysis for more competitive markets. The full breakdown is on the SEO page.
For local service businesses, yes. Whether you are a plumber in Bolton, a salon in Bury or a solicitor in Manchester, most of your customers start their search on Google. We tailor the work to your trade, your area and your competition, so you show up where it actually counts.
From brief to live.
Most sites are ready to review in 1 to 3 working days. Once we have your brief and business details we start straight away, and you see a finished, mobile ready site before you commit to anything. No waiting weeks for a first draft.
Yes. Our Work has the real sites we have built, each one live and linked so you can open it and judge it yourself, from an energy company and a construction firm to an online shop and a funeral business. That is the standard your site is built to.
Small text and image updates are part of your monthly plan, so just send them over and we make them. If you want something bigger, like a new section or a redesign, we give you a clear, fair quote before any work starts. Nothing is done without your say so.
Where we work.
Because that is where local businesses win or lose customers. When someone nearby searches for what you do, the businesses with a strong local presence are the ones that get found and get the call. We build dedicated location pages for the towns you want to reach, so you show up in your area.
Yes. The SEO plans include a set number of new location pages each month, one for each area you want to win, from across Greater Manchester to anywhere in the UK. Each page is written for that specific place, so Google understands exactly where you work.
No. We are based in Greater Manchester and know the area well, but the way we work is fully remote, so we build for businesses anywhere in the UK. Wherever you are, the build, the review and the management are exactly the same.
Selling online.
Both are built to the same standard, so it comes down to how you want to run and pay for the shop. A bespoke store on WooCommerce comes with the Worldpay payment gateway, accessed through our partnership with an official Worldpay partner, which means a better rate on your card payments, and it runs on a small monthly fee to us plus your own store hosting. Shopify is simpler to run on a single bill, with no monthly fee to us after the build. We talk it through on the discovery call and point you to the one that fits your business. You are never tied to one route.
A shop is the one thing we do not build for free first, because there is real work in building it around your products, payments and checkout. We quote it up front after a short discovery call, so you know the full cost before anything starts. You then pay the quote in full, or spread it across twelve monthly payments over twelve months, whichever suits your cash flow.
It depends on the route. On a headless WooCommerce build you pay £30 a month to us for the storefront we build and look after, plus your own store hosting, billed directly to you by the provider. On Shopify there is no monthly fee to us at all; you pay Shopify's subscription directly to Shopify. Either way the costs are set out plainly before you commit, so you always know what you pay and who you pay it to.
We work with an official Worldpay partner, and through that partnership we can set your store up with the Worldpay payment gateway at a better rate than you would get going direct. The rate can improve as your sales grow, so the more you sell, the more it works in your favour. It is a real saving on every card payment, kept in your business rather than lost to fees.
Longer than a standard site, because a shop has products, payments and checkout to set up and test properly. We give you a clear timeline at the quote stage, once we know the size of your catalogue and how you want the shop to work. You will know what to expect before we start.
